Dave and Deanna have been married for 10 years and you can see they are still very much in love! I had so much fun with them and absolutely loved their energy, vibrance, and just plain cuteness. We met at Floyd Lamb State Park just minutes before they closed so I was nervous about being kicked out before we finished. Fortunately luck was with us and we were able to get our session done with no ranger in site.
When I first met Hayden and Ireland (along with their mother, grandmother, and great grandmother) at Calico Basin, they had just woken up from a nap and were still very sleepy. But when they woke up, they sure woke up! Those kids have more energy in their little pinkies than I do in my whole body. I spent the next hour chasing them around in circles – literally – trying to catch up long enough to snatch a picture. It was a lot of fun, and I was glad for a little workout to go along with it, lol.

I met Leslie and Matt and their beautiful little girl at Lake Las Vegas for a fun little family shoot. Unfortunately it was beyond hot and their poor baby wasn’t having any of it! But with a wandering bunny, random water, lots of snacks, and a lucky lollipop, she found enough to spark her interest. They are a beautiful and fun family and I very much enjoyed the chance to hang out with them for a bit.
